Event narrative
Heavy rains over an approximately 2 year old burn area (Riverside Fire) triggered a debris flow. This is reportedly to have occurred sometime on November 5th. The debris flow crossed Highway 224 at the junction with Indian Henry Road, near a bridge crossing the Clackamas River. A nearby rain gauge had 3.31 inches in the 24 hours ending 1700PST November 5th.
