The mesonet station ODT55 measured a gust of 73 mph at 0742PDT November 4th and the mesonet station ODT02 measured a gust of 60mph at 1446PDT November 4th.
Wider weather episode
A strong cold front pushed through the region during the afternoon on November 4th into the morning hours of November 5th accompanied by a strong low level jet and tight surface pressure gradient. The strongest winds occurred late on the evening of November 4th and on the early morning of November 5th.
