Observer in Thornton area recorded 5.3 inches of snow at 0700LST Nov 30 for Nov 29-30. Pullman saw ranges of 4 to 6 icnhes. Rosalia had a report of 8 inches. Breezy winds also caused issues with drifting snow on area roadways.
Wider weather episode
A slow moving Low moved through the Pacific Northwest at the end of November. With below normal temperatures of single digits and teens and ample moisture, it brought widespread snow. The heaviest snow fell along the Cascades and Northern Washington reaching South into Spokane.
