For multiple sites across Prairie County, temperatures in the teens and 20s below zero and breezy winds created intermittent periods of wind chills of -40 or worse from the morning of the 21st into the morning of the 23rd. The peak wind chill of -57 was recorded at 5:08 PM on the 21st at the Big Sheep Mountain RAWS site (LCFM8).
