A report from the public indicated coastal flooding along the restaurant Rum Runners parking lot near the Christiansted boardwalk.

Wider weather episode

Pulses of large, long-period northerly swells impacted the northwest to east coasts of the islands during the first and second weeks of December. This caused dangerous breaking wave action along the Atlantic coastline, life-threatening rip currents, and minor coastal flooding.
