What the National Weather Service wrote

Severe (D2) drought conditions over northwestern McPherson County, deteriorated to extreme (D3) drought conditions by the end of November. Over the remainder of the county, extreme (D3) drought conditions persisted through the end of the month.

The wider storm

Dry conditions continued across western and north central Nebraska in November. By the end of the month, exceptional (D4) drought conditions had expanded into most of Brown, northern Rock and southeastern Cherry County. Extreme (D3) drought conditions expanded into Hooker, McPherson, and eastern portions of Arthur and Grant Counties.
