The 911 call center reported of a flooded street with one person trapped in a car by PR-167 and Comerio street, close to the Bayamon Christian Academy.
Wider weather episode
Slow-moving showers and isolated thunderstorms developed late in the afternoon on the 11th of January. This activity lasted through the evening hours, and rainfall amounts of up to 5 inches were observed in Bayamon. Additional showers affected nearby municipalities and produced flooding across the central and eastern interior sections of Puerto Rico, including the San Juan metropolitan area. However, the most significant impacts were noted across Bayamon.
