Wider weather episode

Upslope low clouds formed along the east side of the San Joaquin Valley and the lower Sierra Foothills in Fresno and Tulare Counties in the wake of a cold winter storm which brought some light precipitation to the area during the morning of January 30. The low clouds lowered into a fog layer by sunrise which disrupted the morning commute in the after mentioned areas. Some dense fog also formed as a result of upslope along the valley facing slopes of the Tehachapi Mountains during the afternoon. The fog dissipated by the evening.
