Emergency Managers reported a stranded car in flood waters in the intersection of Roads PR-690 and PR-676.

Wider weather episode

The islands were in between two areas of enhanced moisture. To the west, a cold front was approaching, and from the Leeward Islands, another patch of moisture was approaching. The available moisture combined with local effects to generate strong showers and thunderstorms that generated local flooding and mudslides.
