Lightning from a thunderstorm ignited a fire at an oil tank battery northeast of Cuero.

A deep upper level low pressure system moved across Texas and brought a frontal system across South Texas. Thunderstorms developed ahead of the front. One of these storms produced lightning that started a fire at an oil tank battery.
