In Berkley at 202 AM EST, a large tree was down on Myricks Street. In Taunton at 345 AM EST, a tree was down on Norton Avenue near Jeffrey Lane. In North Easton at 6 AM, a tree was down on Sheridan Street.

Wider weather episode

A short wave trough in the Tennessee Valley helped intensify low pressure as it moved through PA, NY, and northern New England. Out ahead of this low, a strong SSW low level jet formed and as temperatures rose, some of the winds were able to break through the inversion and make it to the surface in southeastern MA overnight.
