Very strong southwest then west winds associated with the passage of an arctic front caused minor to moderate (tidal) coastal flooding over portions of Somerset county adjacent to the Chesapeake Bay. Crisfield reached 4.80 feet MLLW at 112 pm on Friday, December 23.
