Wind chills dropped between 25 and 30 degrees below zero at the Saratoga Airport AWOS station (KSAA) with an overnight low of 17 degrees below zero.

Wider weather episode

A period of cold temperatures early on the 16th led to wind chills west of the Laramie Range dropping near 20 degrees below zero. Localized valley areas including around Laramie and Saratoga dropped to 30 degrees below zero at times.
