Freezing drizzle and mist created icy conditions across the county which resulted in multiple vehicular accidents including unfortunately one fatality as well as several possible or suspected injuries. Only minor details are known for most of the accidents.

Wider weather episode

On December 21st, 2022, freezing drizzle and mist developed especially in the afternoon and evening hours which resulted in several vehicular accidents in north central and south central Kansas. Unfortunately there were possible and suspected injuries as well as two fatalities associated with these accidents.
