Saratoga Airport AWOS station (KSAA) reported wind chills as low as 42 degrees below zero.

Wider weather episode

Arctic air mass settled into southeast Wyoming late in the month after much of the region received accumulating snowfall. Wind chills on the morning of the 30th and 31st dropped below 20 degrees below zero with a few sites along and west of the Laramie Range dropping below 30 degrees below zero.
