WYDOT mesonet station Shirley Basin (WY44) along Wyoming Highway 487 reported wind chills as low as 52 degrees below zero.

Arctic air mass settled into southeast Wyoming late in the month after much of the region received accumulating snowfall. Wind chills on the morning of the 30th and 31st dropped below 20 degrees below zero with a few sites along and west of the Laramie Range dropping below 30 degrees below zero.
