Alliance Airport ASOS station (KAIA) reported wind chills as low as 33 degrees below zero.

Winter storm across the area brought heavy snowfall and blowing snow to portions of the Nebraska Panhandle, especially along the Pine Ridge near Chadron and Harrison. Numerous road closures were reported in the area. Additionally, extremely cold temperatures led to dangerous wind chills overnight into the 23rd.
