Kamehameha Highway was closed in both directions at Kawailoa Drive due to a downed tree on power lines.

An extended period of gusty trade winds developed over the western portions of the state, between a high pressure system northwest of Kauai and a surface trough over Maui County. The gusty winds affected portions of Oahu, Kauai and Niihau.
