Numerous SNOTELs in the area estimated 15 to 20 inches of snow accumulation between the morning of the 26th and the afternoon of the 28th. Med Bow SNOTEL (elevation 10510 feet) estimated 18.9 inches of snowfall with 1.1 inches of snow water equivalent.

Wider weather episode

Snowfall occurred for an extended period of time starting on the 26th across south-central Wyoming in the Snowy and Sierra Madre Mountains. Snowfall accumulation ranged from 1.5 to 2 feet, especially at elevations above 9000 feet.
