The highest snowfall total across Forest County was 6 inches near Mole Lake.

Low pressure tracking from the central Plains through the central Great Lakes brought a swath of heavy snow to northeast Wisconsin overnight on Wednesday (1/18) into Thursday (1/19) morning. Lake effect snow continued across Vilas County through Thursday (1/19) afternoon. Snowfall amounts were generally 6 to 10 inches across central, north-central, and northeast Wisconsin.

Some of the highest snowfall totals included 10.5 inches in Lake Tomahawk (Oneida Co.), 10.3 inches near Hazelhurst (Oneida Co.), 9.4 inches in St. Germain (Vilas Co.), 8.5 inches in Rhinelander (Oneida Co.) and 7.1 inches in Irma (Lincoln Co.).
