Two sensors measured wind chills of -40 F or less, including the S Fork Judith RAWS (SFJM8) and MTMON Monarch Canyon. The minimum was measured by the RAWS and was -44 F.

Wider weather episode

After loss of diurnal heating during the day on the 23rd of February, another round of frigid wind chills took place before Chinook winds were able to warm most areas up later on the 24th.
