What the National Weather Service wrote

Two sensors measured wind chills of -40 F or less, including Mesonet station MTDPC Deep Creek Pass and MTBZH Bozeman Pass. THe minimum wind chill observed was at Bozeman Pass and was -44 F.

The wider storm

After loss of diurnal heating during the day on the 23rd of February, another round of frigid wind chills took place before Chinook winds were able to warm most areas up later on the 24th.
