Multiple mesonets measured wind chills of -40 F or less, including mtm73 Ledger, mtm05 Conrad, and coam8 Conrad. The minimum wind chill was -43 F.

Wider weather episode

After loss of diurnal heating during the day on the 23rd of February, another round of frigid wind chills took place before Chinook winds were able to warm most areas up later on the 24th.
