A tight pressure gradient over the region produced breezy to windy conditions during the afternoon and evening, with wind gusts around 35 to 40 mph from the south to southwest. A line of strong showers moved through during the early nighttime hours and produced locally higher wind gusts, from the west around 40 to 50 mph, and downed several trees.
