Another disturbance passed through the area in active southwest flow aloft during the late afternoon through early morning hours, bringing some snowfall to much of the area. Most areas from the Black Hills to west central and northwestern South Dakota received one to three inches of snow from this system. More significant snowfall developed northeast of the Black Hills and across parts of far southwestern South Dakota, where three to six inches were reported in some areas.
