Coop observer reports of snowfall amounts include 8.0 inches in Randolph, 9.4 inches in Laketown, and 10.0 inches in Woodruff.

Wider weather episode

A strong winter storm brought widespread snowfall and winter impacts to much of the forecast region for the start of 2023. Some of the high elevation locations saw snow begin prior to the new year, while most valley locations saw rain switch to snow right around midnight on the new year. Additionally, isolated flash flooding was reported in southern Utah due to rainfall associated with the system.
