An upper-level system and weak area of surface low pressure brought a period of snow across the region during the daylight hours of March 12th which transitioned to freezing drizzle during the evening and continued into the overnight. Total snow accumulations were a coating to two inches with ice accumulations of a trace to one tenth of an inch. The greatest ice accumulations were on the eastern facing ridges.
