A cocorahs observer reported 3.5 inches in Armonk. A 1 to 4 inch snowfall was observed across the northern portions of Southern Westchester, with amounts closer to an inch across far southern portions of the zone and mainly on colder surfaces as temperatures were mainly above freezing as this was an elevation based snowfall event across the Lower Hudson Valley.
Wider weather episode
A Miller B type storm brought rain which changed over to heavy wet snow across Interior SE NY. The heaviest snow totals were mostly driven by elevation as temperatures were right at freezing. Most places closer to the coast and towards the metro changed to snow but most places had an inch or less mostly on colder surfaces.
