Event narrative

Several SNOTEL stations including Fish Lake Utah, Pickle Keg, and Mt. Baldy recorded 0.9 to 3.6 inches of snow water equivalent, resulting in approximately 12 to 49 inches of snow.

Wider weather episode

A winter storm brought an initial surge of widespread snow from January 9 into January 10, with a second bout of snow later January 10 on into January 11. Occasional strong wind gusts were also noted throughout the event.
