Snowfall amounts ranged from 6 in the western part of the county to 10 in the eastern part of the county. The highest snow report was near Burlington.

Wider weather episode

An upper level storm system brought heavy snow to East Central Colorado in mid January. Snowfall amounts ranged from an inch or less in northern Yuma County to over eleven inches in Cheyenne County. This event was unusual in that there was very little blowing snow.
