There were several reports of 3 to 6 inches across the county during an 24 hour period from January 03 to January 04.

On January 03 a band of heavy snow lifted up from the south and produced snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour. Then there was a break with some freezing drizzle during the evening of the 3rd. This was followed by another area of snow that developed and pivoted across eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin the night of the 3rd into the 4th.
