Trees were blown down around Dunlap and western portions of the county.

Wider weather episode

A strong pressure gradient produced high winds across much of East Tennessee through the day on March 3rd. During the afternoon, a line of showers and thunderstorms crossed the area, associated with a cold front. Numerous trees were blown down with the gradient winds and the thunderstorm winds.
