Strong northerly winds impacted the Santa Monica Mountains in Los Angeles county. Some peak gusts from the local mesonet include: Boney Mountain (gust 70 MPH) and Deer Creek Canyon (gust 62 MPH).

A second round of strong northerly winds impacted the mountains of Los Angeles county and the Santa Clarita Valley. Peak wind gusts in excess of 100 MPH were reported.
