Strong north to northeast winds impacted the Santa Monica Mountains in Los Angeles county. Some peak wind gusts from the local mesonet include: Boney Mountain (gust 64 MPH), Rancho De Cielo (gust 63 MPH) and Deer Creek Canyon (gust 58 MPH).
