Fire dept reported more than a dozen trees blown down, along with snapped power lines and a brick retaining wall blown over.

Wider weather episode

A line of heavy rain showers and thunderstorms moved across northeast Georgia during the afternoon and evening in advance of a cold front. Embedded severe thunderstorms resulted in isolated damaging wind gusts and large hail.
