Event narrative

COOP Observer in Pelican measured 13.4 inches of new snow at 8am on the 15th and was still snowing moderately. Their report the following day had another 2.1 inches of snow but had changed to rain. Another report from Facebook included a photo of around 1 foot of snow at the Inian Islands in the same zone.

Wider weather episode

A new low center developed along a triple point frontal system causing enhancement as the front moved over the region with heavy snow and blowing snow late on the 14th through the morning of the 15th.
