The peak wind gust at the Sunset Point RAWS was 88 MPH at 653 AM. Wind damage in the Chino Valley included a shed blown over, shingles missing/minor roof damage, and trees blown down.
The wider storm
The exceptionally deep and cold low pressure system moved across northern Arizona February 21 through early February 23. This storm brought high to very high winds, heavy snow, blowing snow, very cold temperatures, and low elevation rain.
