Event narrative

State Route 143 between Brian Head and Panguitch was closed due to snowy conditions. A SNOWTEL snow water equivalent of 1.2 inches, or approximately 14 inches of snow, was observed at Kolob. Other SNOTEL snow water equivalent observations include 1.1 inches at Yankee Reservoir, 1.0 inches at Gardner Peak, 1.0 inches at Brian Head, 0.9 inches at Webster Flat, and 0.9 inches at Lonesome Beaver, with snow accumulations of approximately 11 to 13 inches.
