Severe (D2) drought conditions persisted across all of Loup County through the end of February.

Wider weather episode

Drought conditions improved some in February across the area. The greatest improvements occurred over portions of north central and southwestern Nebraska. In these locations, drought severity improved by one category in February. Elsewhere, drought conditions remained un-changed during the month.
