The Broadalbin Baptist Church was struck by lightning causing some damage to the steeple and some of the electrical equipment.

A couple of bands of precipitation tracked from west to east across the region on February 7, 2023. Within these bands, one thunderstorm developed across Fulton County as a lightning bolt struck a church causing some damage.
