Trees and power lines were blown down on Mint Road and elsewhere in the county.

Wider weather episode

Numerous thunderstorms moved across East Tennessee during the early morning hours of April 1. Several storms produced damaging wind gusts, and one tornado was confirmed. High winds from the low pressure system were also recorded, with downed trees and structural damage reported in the afternoon hours.
