Selawik AWOS had multiple hours of low visibility, gusty winds, and heavy snow with conditions as low as quarter mile visibility and winds gusting up to 45 MPH.

Wider weather episode

A deep trough in the Bering Sea moved a series of shortwaves over the West Coast, pushing a cold front across the coast. This induced several inches of snow and gusty, bringing blizzard conditions along the coast.
