Strong and gusty westerly winds impacted the Santa Lucia Mountains in San Luis Obispo county. Some peak wind reports from the local mesonet include: Green Valley Road (gust 66 MPH) and Davis Peak (gust 63 MPH).

Strong and gusty west to northwest winds impacted sections of Southwestern California. Peak gusts, in excess of 80 MPH, were reported in some areas.
