Snowfall totals across the northern half of Aitkin County were generally in the 3 to 5 inch range with a high total of 6 near Balsam.

Wider weather episode

A clipper system moved through the Northland the afternoon of the 20th into the morning of the 21st. While snowfall totals were generally in the 3 to 5 inch range, some enhancement did occur along the Iron Range and along the North Shore. Totals of 6 to 8 inches were seen along the Iron Range with 10-14 inches along the North Shore including a high report of 14.5 inches near Silver Bay.
