Event narrative

A snowfall accumulation of 10.9 inches was observed at North Salt Lake. Other snowfall accumulations included 10.0 inches at Clinton, a range from 7.5-8.3 inches with 1.10-1.34 inches of snow water equivalent at Bountiful, 7.0 inches at Layton, and 6.5 inches with 0.76 inches of snow water equivalent at South Ogden.

Wider weather episode

This snow event brought more than a foot of snow to many northern Utah valleys, with greater accumulations in the mountains. Numerous accidents were reported.
