Event narrative

A snow water equivalent of 1.80 inches, or approximately 25 inches of snow, was recorded at Chepeta. Other snow water equivalent observations include 1.50 inches at Trial Lake, 1.50 inches at Spirit Lake, 1.30 inches at Lakefork, and 1.20 inches at Five Points Lake, with snow accumulations ranging from 17 to 21 inches.

Wider weather episode

This snow event brought more than a foot of snow to many northern Utah valleys, with greater accumulations in the mountains. Numerous accidents were reported.
