COOP observer ENSM8 (near Ennis) measured 7.6 inches of snow for an event total. The COOP observer near Norris Madison (located at a higher elevation) measured an event total amount of 24 inches. A CoCoRaHS station located about 2 miles ENE of Norris had an event total of16.5 inches.

Wider weather episode

A series of Pacific weather systems brought periods of snow to most of central and southwest Montana through the weekend with a stronger winter storm affecting portions of Southwest Montana through the early part of the weekend.
