The national gridded snowfall analysis indicated 2 to 8 inches of snow across the zone. Amounts were highest in the Kalmiopsis Wilderness.

Wider weather episode

Another very cold area of low pressure moved south along the Oregon coast and produced significant snow from the coast to the Coast Range and into the Illinois Valley. Snow levels

were down to sea level at the coast and to valley floors in Josephine County.
