Snow in Siskiyou County was heaviest in this zone. The national gridded snowfall analysis indicated amounts of 8 to 18 inches.

As the very cold area of low pressure continued south from along the southern Oregon coast to along the northern California coast, snow intensified again. Heavy snow extended from the Curry County coast to the Coast Range and into northern California. Snow levels

were at valley floors with a strong southerly upslope flow into southern Siskiyou County.
