Snowfall amounts ranged from around six inches in the west to almost 10 inches in the eastern part of the county.

In mid February heavy snow occurred across East Central Colorado, along with wind gusts around 30 MPH. Snow amounts ranged from a couple inches to almost 10 inches. The highest snow amounts occurred in southern Yuma and eastern Kit Carson counties. The combined effect of the wind and snow yielded drifts of two to four feet and visibility of less than a half mile at times.
